Therapy
Clients come to me looking for help with a broad range of issues including: bereavement, loss, isolation, low self-esteem, depression, paranoia, acute anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity issues and trauma. We can also address concerns which may arise during a period of significant change in their lives — such as new parenthood, menopause and retirement — or when they may feel stuck or lost.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a number of theories and approaches to best suit the needs of the individual. My approach is holistic, taking into account the personal, physical, social and spiritual dimensions of life.
Therapy can combine more practical tools, skills and psychoeducation with deeper psychological and philosophical exploration. Through an understanding of how the past may be playing out in the present, we can gain deeper insight into how this may be impacting our relationships and our experiences of life. We can then begin to make more informed choices.
